Founded in 1931, Capital Group is one of the oldest and largest asset management companies in the world. As at 31 December 2025, Capital Group manages approximately US$3.2 trillion in equity, fixed income and multi-asset investment strategies.

Capital Group has had a presence in Switzerland for over 60 years. The company opened its first office outside the U.S. in Geneva in 1962, and an office in Zurich in 2015, and launched a Luxembourg fund for Swiss investors as early as 1969. The company has a total of more than 150 employees in its two Swiss offices.
